ITS Arizona is sponsoring an awards program to honor outstanding achievement in the area of Intelligent Transportation Systems. Now in its 16th year, the ITS Arizona awards program will continue to recognize the best and brightest ITS planning projects, implementation projects, and industry products. The awards will be presented at the Annual Conference being hosted virtually. Self and second-party nominations are encouraged. Nominations are due on August 30, 2020. Please visit the conference webpage for more information.

In conjunction with the ITS Arizona 2020 Annual Conference, you are invited to submit a write-up of your research to be included in the “Best ITS Arizona Student Research Paper Contest”. Announcement of the $500 award for the winning paper will be made at the closing session of the conference.  To qualify for the competition, the research must be related to Intelligent Transportation Systems and have been accomplished as a graduate student at ASU, NAU, UA or any other recognized institutions of higher learning in Arizona during the 2020 calendar year. The deadline for submission is August 30, 2020. Please visit the conference webpage for more information.

Our conference committee is hard at work on developing the virtual conference program and schedule; more details will be shared in the next month. The registration fees for the meeting will be significantly reduced to ensure that this meeting is accessible to as many of our members as possible.
