2019 Conference – ITS – The Path to Smart Mobility
This year’s ITS Arizona Annual Conference will be held on Tuesday, September 24th and Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Mesa Convention Center, Building C, located at 263 N Center Street in Mesa, Arizona.
The theme of this year’s conference – ITS – The Path to Smart Mobility– underscores the conference’s goals of providing participants with a one-stop resource focusing on evolving smart mobility applications that are enhancing the multi-modal transportation options while presenting challenges and opportunities to the communities in integrating the technologies into public spaces. Elected and appointed officials, business and community leaders and emergency responders and public safety personnel will contribute to the rich dialogue while learning about the technical challenges facing the transportation community.
The conference program is designed to appeal to a wide audience. Program topics will interest those in the public and private transportation, transit, tourism, enforcement, freight industry, public safety and medical service professionals engaged in the operations, maintenance and use of our transportation system.

Day 1 Workshop
Day 1 workshop will include a Connected Vehicle Demonstration (V2I with Cellular) by Traffic Technology Services, Audi of America and City of Mesa.
In 2016, Audi launched the first connected vehicle application through their connectivity service, Audi connect. Traffic Technology Services is the information service provider for the Audi system, providing technology that predicts traffic signal control operations. Participants will experience the first applications: Time-To-Green and Green Light Optimized Speed Advisory. Total time for demonstration is 20 minutes.
