The Regional ITS Data Sharing webinar was held on Friday, March 31, 2017, with ITS Joint Program Office (JPO) Data Program Manager Ariel Gold as the featured speaker. The webinar discussed historical and emerging needs to share ITS data between local jurisdictions and how to apply the design principles of extensibility and replicability to data systems. The Providing Emerging ITS Data to the Public webinar was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Ariel Gold and Michael Pack (University of Maryland, Center for Advanced Transportation Technology) were the key speakers. The webinar discussed current and future ITS data sets that are available for research purposes and provided examples of data types and potential uses.
